Who I Support
I support the LGBTQ+ community, helping individuals safely navigate identity, coming out, and societal pressures. I also love working with teens as they navigate the unique storms of adolescence and partnering with couples and families to heal communication breaks, rebuild trust, and foster mutual understanding. Whatever you are navigating, you do not have to carry it alone. Together, we will honor your unique lived experience and work at a pace that feels safe and supportive for you.
Concerns We Can Explore Together
Anxiety and Worry
Child and Teen Concerns
Couples and Relationship Support
Identity and Culture
Family Conflict
These are examples of what we might explore, not a limit on the conversation. If what you are experiencing is not listed, you are welcome to reach out and ask whether I may be a good fit.
What Working With Me May Feel Like
My approach is warm, deeply collaborative, and grounded in Narrative Therapy. Rather than seeing you as the problem, we will look together at the challenges you face as external forces we can understand and change. I strive to create an affirming, safe environment where individuals, couples, and families can safely explore their histories, rewrite old patterns, and discover new pathways toward healing and deeper connection.
A Little More About Me
For several years, I have focused my career path and academic pursuits on learning and developing clinical skills at Capella University. I also have a BA in business and an AAS in Pharmacology. As a personal mission, I strive to empower and improve others' outlook and circumstances. Working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures has provided me with a deep understanding and awareness. My clinical and life experience allow a humanistic approach to working with diversity.
