ABOUT US

OUR MISSION
At Caring Conversations Center, our mission is to create a safe and supportive space where healing begins through honest dialogue and compassionate care. We believe therapy is more than treatment, it’s transformation. By addressing the mind, body, and soul, we help individuals remember who they are beneath the pain and guide them toward peace, purpose, and wholeness.

We’re committed to meeting people where they are, providing accessible and affordable mental health services that honor every person’s truth and humanity. Through connection, education, and care, we aim to make therapy feel like coming home to yourself.

OUR VISION
Our vision is to help create a world where therapy is not seen as a last resort, but as a way of life—a path to self-awareness, healing, and wholeness. We envision communities where every individual has access to compassionate care, emotional education, and the tools to transform pain into purpose.

Caring Conversations Center strives to be a guiding light in mental health, bridging the gap between therapy and everyday living, so that healing becomes accessible, conversations become caring, and every person feels seen, heard, and valued.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
Ciara Ward
MSW, MCR, LCSW, CAMS-II
I’m Ciara Ward, the founder of Caring Conversations Center and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, Arkansas, Virginia, Maryland, Michigan, and Iowa, with over a decade of experience helping adults navigate life’s challenges. My work focuses on guiding individuals through transformation, life transitions, and finding balance, especially in areas like stress, anxiety, trauma, self-discovery, body image, self-esteem, and career shifts.
I began my journey at Saint Mary’s College, earning a degree in Social Work with a focus on Social Justice and Gerontology. I then pursued a master's degree in Social Work and Conflict Resolution at Dominican University, deepening my understanding of how personal growth and change are shaped by both internal and external factors.
My approach is centered on authenticity, self-awareness, and holistic healing, integrating the mind, body, and soul. Growth happens when we embrace where we are while making space for who we’re becoming. I create a supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to navigate life’s transitions with clarity and confidence.
Beyond my work in traditional therapy, I founded Ci Notes, a platform designed to make self-exploration and healing accessible to everyone. Through Ci Notes, I provide resources that help individuals engage in self-reflection, personal growth, and transformation—whether in a session or on their own journey.

Meet the Team

REKEYA FORD, PLMFT Healing isn't about forgetting the past; it's about reclaiming your power and writing a new story with intention and self-compassion. I support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, substance use, and major life transitions. My role is to guide you with curiosity, compassion, and evidence-based tools. In therapy, we'll examine patterns, challenge limiting beliefs, and build emotional resilience to support meaningful, lasting change. You don't have to do this alone; growth begins the moment you choose yourself and commit to healing, peace, and emotional well-being. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), evidence-based approaches that support clients in managing emotions, shifting unhelpful thinking patterns, and building healthy coping skills. These therapies are especially effective for challenges like anxiety, depression, boundary setting, and emotional regulation. I take a holistic, client-centered approach- integrating mind-body connection, lifestyle influences, and core values. Each session is tailored to support clarity, confidence, and emotional balance. Whether you're in survival mode or seeking deeper purpose, therapy can reconnect you to your authentic self.

GINA S, Pre-Licensed Professional Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, relationship stress, or significant life changes like grief, parenting, or career shifts? You deserve a space where you feel truly heard, understood, and supported. Clients often say they feel comfortable and safe working with me, like they can finally let their guard down. I offer a warm, down-to-earth approach to therapy, working with adults, teens, couples, and families. Whether you're navigating trauma, identity exploration, or substance use challenges, our work together will be collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique story. My approach is collaborative, warm, and honest. I’ll support you, gently challenge you, and walk beside you as you move toward healing and growth. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I use a collaborative systems approach to explore patterns, improve connections, and foster change. I also integrate Motivational Interviewing, the Gottman Method, and Solution-Focused Therapy to meet your unique needs.

HAYTHEM LAFHAJ, MA, MFT, CPT, PhD Candidate Marriage & Family Therapist | Certified in Child Play Therapy On my journey to be a LMFT my passion comes from helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. With a unique blend of personal and professional experiences, I specialize in working with clients facing life transitions, relationship issues, and cultural identity struggles. My approach is grounded in empathy and collaboration, where I work alongside you to foster healthier communication, stronger connections, and a deeper understanding of yourself and your loved ones. As a Tunisian-American and a single father who grew up in MN, speaking both French and Arabic, I bring a multicultural lens. I understand the complexities of identity, family dynamics, and code-switching that many individuals and families experience. Whether you're dealing with grief, parenting challenges, or seeking greater harmony in your relationships, I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your feelings, heal, and grow. In addition to therapy, I have a strong background in community development and social justice, having worked with diverse populations in both nonprofit and professional settings. My goal is to empower you to create meaningful change in your life and to guide you through the process of building stronger, more fulfilling relationships.

JEREMY SANTIAGO PLMFT As a pre-license professional, I offer a compassionate, collaborative space for individuals, couples, and families to explore their stories and relationships. My therapeutic work is rooted in narrative therapy, solution-focused techniques, and humanistic approaches, allowing clients to feel empowered, seen, and heard as they navigate challenges and uncover new possibilities. I specialize in working with couples (including non-traditional and ethically non-monogamous relationships), families, and individuals seeking meaningful change in how they relate to themselves and others. I believe therapy can be a space to explore and deepen your sense of authenticity—in your relationship with yourself and with others. To support that, I use evidence-based approaches that build on your strengths and create space for growth and change. I’m committed to creating a welcoming, affirming space where every part of your identity is honored. I believe healing happens when we feel seen and understood—not just as individuals, but within the context of our relationships, cultures, and stories. If you’re looking for a therapist who listens with care and walks alongside you with curiosity and compassion, I’d be honored to connect. I specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy, helping individuals, couples, and families strengthen relationships, process grief, and rewrite personal stories. I offer a compassionate, collaborative space to explore emotions, heal from trauma, and build healthier connections. Together, we work toward. I understand that reaching out for help can be daunting, but you don’t have to go through this alone. Together, we can explore your challenges, process your emotions, and strengthen your connections. If you’re ready to take that first step toward growth and healing, I’m here to walk alongside you. Your story matters, and I’d love to hear it.

DOMINIQUE WOHL PLMFT Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of courage and self-care—a recognition that your story matters, your struggles deserve attention, and healing is possible. Together, we’ll work toward the fulfilling life you envision. I am passionate about guiding individuals, couples, and families through life transitions, relational challenges, and emotional struggles.
